I need help with Religion.!?

Okay so, I'm doing a inquiry project on Religion for English and I'm stuck. There is so much information on religion on the web, but it's all really confusing to me. I simply want to know some of the similarities between Christianity and Catholicism, How they differ and if they follow some of the same beliefs.
