Info on growing a Fire Star ground Orchid (Epidendrum radican please!?

This beautiful ground orchid grows in my area (zone 9 in Florida) outside in the ground or in a pot. I'm hoping someone will know if it will be happy under 2 large oak trees, and if the reclaimed water that goes through our sprinklers will hurt it? Should I put it in a pot or in the ground? If a pot, how big? There's no way to put it under the trees without the reclaimed hitting it when I irrigate the rest of the yard. Any tips on growing this orchid will be greatly appreciated - it's a mothers day gift and I would love to enjoy it for many years to come. thank you!
