How do I stop sprinklers from spraying the house?

I take care of my neighbors lawn and she recently asked me to get her sprinklers going again since they have not been ran in quite a while. One of these sprinklers sprays as high as the middle of my neighbors two front bedroom windows. The other one sits right next to her foundation and, when turned on, the sprinkler sprays the underneath of her wall where it comes out from the foundation a few inches because of the stucco. The sprinkler heads are Rain Birds. I need a to know whether I should dig the sprinkler heads down in the ground a little more or if I need to get new sprinkler heads entirely. If I get a new sprinkler heads do I need to get shorter ones, lower pressure ones? What kind of sprinklers should I get?
