Should I take my kid to the doctor to get it put down?

he is almost 2 now and he wont even eat out of his doggy bowl... He makes weird noises and cant even use the litterbox. I tried letting it poop in the yard but instead it pooped on the carpet. I tried to teach it that pooping on my new carpet is not acceptable by shoving it's face in it's own feces but it wouldn't learn. About the eating should I switch to wet doggy food or keep the dry food coming?? I Found sitting on the couch last night and tried to get it off by squirting it with the spray bottle but it didn't move so I picked it up and put it on the lawn and turned the sprinklers on. It started whining so I threw it at a wall and it finally shut up. Should I get him put down or put him up for adoption?
